More about us
First Congregational UCC has been part of the Menomonie community since 1861. We are a member church of the United Church of Christ, a mainline Protestant denomination with roots in the English Congregational Church and the German Evangelical and Reformed traditions. First Congregational UCC continues the Christian traditions of our progressive forebears who believed that faith must include our minds, our bodies, our spirits and our hearts.
The United Church of Christ http://www.ucc.org/
Drawn together by the Holy Spirit, we are a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church, joining faith and action. In covenant with the church in all of its settings, we serve God in the co-creation of a just and sustainable world as made manifest in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“That they may all be one.”
Wisconsin Conference UCC http://www.wcucc.org/
As witnesses to God’s love in Jesus Christ, the Wisconsin Conference serves with congregations, pastors, laity, and wider church partners to provide networks of clergy support, engage laity in spiritual growth and leadership development and establish and renew congregations so that the people will respond to the Spirit’s call, grow in faith and discipleship, and participate in God’s transforming work of peace and justice.
